Spinach 'Nores' (Viking)

Latin name: Spinacia oleracea L.

Spinach 'Nores' (also known as 'Viking') is a fast-growing and cold-hardy variety that produces dark green, broad leaves with a mild, sweet flavour. It is perfect for both spring and autumn cultivation and is excellent in salads, smoothies, soups and gratins.

  • Sowing time: March–May (spring sowing) or August–October (autumn sowing)
  • Harvest time: April–June, September–November
  • Sowing depth: 1–2 cm
