Latin name: Cucurbita pepo

Spaghetti squash is a unique squash variety that, when cooked, develops a stringy flesh that resembles spaghetti. The fruits are oval, light yellow, and weigh about 1–2 kg. The flavor is mild and slightly nutty, making it perfect as a healthy alternative to pasta or as a base in gratins and soups.
