Helianthus annuus

An elegant, medium-sized sunflower with creamy yellow petals and a dark centre , which truly lives up to its name. 'Buttercream' is both decorative in a border or pot and excellent as a cut flower in summer bouquets. One of the most beautiful sunflowers in its class , and loved for its harmonious colour tone.

It is best grown in separate pots or trays as the plants do not like to be transplanted. Can also be sown directly outdoors when the soil is warm.
