Microgreens - Green basil
Latin name: Ocimum basilicum
Microgreen green basil is an aromatic and delicate variety with small, scaly leaves and a mild, sweet basil flavor. It is rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, making it a perfect addition to salads, sandwiches, pasta dishes and as a beautiful garnish.
Cultivation information:
- Packaging: 3 g seeds
- Sowing time: Year-round (indoors)
- Sowing depth: Surface sowing, press lightly against the soil but do not cover
- Germination time: 5–7 days
- Harvest time: 12–20 days
- Location: Bright, preferably in a window or under a grow light
- Soil type: Nutritious, well-drained soil or growing mat
- Watering: Keep the soil moist but avoid overwatering
How to grow:
- Spread the seeds evenly over moist soil or growing mat.
- Press the seeds down lightly, but do not cover them. Keep moist with a spray bottle.
- Place in the dark for the first 3–4 days for better germination.
- Move to a bright location when the sprouts begin to grow.
- Harvest when the leaves are 5–10 cm tall by cutting them off at the base.
Uses: Perfect for salads, sandwiches, pasta dishes, soups and as a decorative and tasty topping.

Answer: Unfortunately, live plants cannot be returned due to their sensitivity and because they are fresh produce.
