Melon 'Charentais'
Latin name: Cucumis melo L.
Melon 'Charentais' is a French classic with small, round fruits and a smooth, light green to grayish skin. The flesh is deep orange, juicy and has an intensely sweet and aromatic flavor. Perfect for fresh consumption, desserts and smoothies.
Cultivation information:
- Packaging: 1 g seeds
- Sowing time: March–May (pre-cultivation) or May–June (direct sowing in open ground)
- Planting out: May–June (when the risk of frost is over)
- Harvest time: July–September
- Sowing depth: 1–2 cm

Cultivation tips:
- Pre-cultivate indoors at 22–28°C for best germination.
- Plant out when the night temperature is stably above 10°C.
- Can be grown on a trellis to save space and improve air circulation.
- Harvest when the melon has a sweet scent and comes off the plant easily.

Answer: Unfortunately, live plants cannot be returned due to their sensitivity and because they are fresh produce.
