    Malabar spinach

    Description:
Malabar spinach is an exotic, fast-growing climbing plant that is cultivated both for its edible leaves and its decorative charm. The leaves are dark green, fleshy and have a mild flavor reminiscent of regular spinach. This tropical plant thrives in heat and is best grown in a greenhouse or in a sunny location outdoors. Perfect to use in salads, soups and stir-fried dishes.

    Packaging Information:
One package contains 0.5 grams of seeds.

    Sowing instructions

    Sowing depth: 1–2 cm

    • Pre-cultivation: Pre-cultivate indoors in March-April in small pots. Keep the soil evenly moist and place in a warm, bright area. The seeds germinate best at temperatures around 25–30 °C.
    • Planting out: Plant out the plants when the risk of frost is over, usually from mid-May. For best growth, it needs a trellis, pergola or other support structure to climb on.

    Plant distance: 50 x 50 cm

    Harvest

    • Harvest time: June – October
    • Harvest the leaves continuously, and new leaves will grow quickly. The leaves are used fresh or cooked.

    Packaging Information:
A package contains a number of grams of seeds (specify when selling).
