Snapdragon 'Mix'

Latin name: Antirrhinum majus

Snapdragon 'Mix' is a colourful mix of stately, long-flowering plants in shades of red, pink, yellow, white and orange. The beautiful flowers, reminiscent of small dragon heads, bloom from early summer to autumn and are excellent for borders, pots and cut flowers.

  • Sowing time: February–April (pre-cultivation) or May (direct sowing)
  • Flowering time: June–October
  • Sowing depth: Surface sowing, press lightly against the soil but do not cover
  • Plant distance: 20–30 cm
  • Height: 30–80 cm (depending on variety)
  • Location: Sun to partial shade
  • Soil type: Nutritious, well-drained and slightly moist soil
  • Watering: Regular, tolerates some drought
