Long bean 'Purple Pod' is an exotic and fast-growing climbing bean that produces long, dark purple pods that can grow up to 60 cm long. The beans have a mild, sweet taste and a crunchy texture. They are often used in Asian dishes, stir-fried, stewed or steamed as a side dish.
