Artichoke 'Green Globe'
Latin name: Cynara scolymus
Artichoke 'Green Globe' is an impressive and tall perennial that can grow up to 1.7 metres tall. It produces large, round, green flower buds that are delicate and rich in flavour. In addition to being a fantastic vegetable, it is also an ornamental plant in the garden with its beautiful, silver-green leaves.

- Planting out: May–June (when the risk of frost is over)
