Cinnamon basil
Latin name: Ocimum basilicum var. cinnamon
Cinnamon basil is a unique and aromatic basil variety with a spicy aroma and flavor reminiscent of cinnamon. Its leaves are dark green with a slight violet tone, and the stems have a reddish hue. It is often used in Asian and Mexican dishes, as well as in teas, desserts and fruity salads where its warm spicy flavor adds an exciting twist.
