Cucumber, mini- 'Picolino' F1

Cucumis sativus
Seeds for a popular and fast-growing cucumber variety that produces smooth fruits, approximately 12-15 cm long. This parthenocarpic and self-fertilizing variety produces only female flowers, making it perfect for pot growing and easy to grow for both beginners and experienced growers. Harvest the fruits regularly for optimal taste, before they get too big - they are excellent to enjoy fresh straight from the grow, in salads or as a tasty and healthy snack. Tip: Slice the cucumbers and dip them in hummus, tzatziki or your favorite dip for an extra taste experience. Growing: Pre-grow the seeds 4-6 weeks before planting out at a night temperature of 12-15 °C. Sow one seed per pot and keep the soil moist. Place them warm for germination and move to a bright place when the seeds have germinated. The cucumber thrives in well-drained, nutrient-rich soil with good access to water and can also be direct sown outdoors with protection of foil or non-woven fabric. Enough for 3-5 plants.
