Cucumber – Armenian (Melon cucumber)
Cucumis melo var. flexuosus – about 25 seeds

A Mediterranean classic with roots in the Middle East, Armenian is a delicacy cucumber that is technically a melon, but is grown and tastes like a cucumber. The fruits can grow up to 50 cm long, are slightly hairy and have a beautiful curled growth habit. When harvested young, the taste is fresh, sweet and very cucumber-like – without bitterness.

This cucumber thrives best under cover, such as in a greenhouse or tunnel greenhouse, where it produces a long and consistent harvest. A fantastic variety for those who want to grow something unusual but easy to use in the kitchen.
