Kale 'Scarlet'
Latin name: Brassica oleracea L.
Kale 'Scarlet' is a beautiful and nutritious variety with deeply curly, dark purple leaves that intensify in color in cooler temperatures. It is very cold-hardy and can be harvested well into winter. The leaves have a mild and sweet flavor, making them excellent for salads, smoothies, soups, stir-frying and baking.
