Dwarf field tomato "Bohun" (Solanum lycopersicum)

Description:
Dwarf field tomato "Bohun" is a very early, highly regarded and determined variety that produces large fruit already in the second decade of July. The plants are easy to care for, vigorous and have a compact plant form. They produce large (up to 140 g) flat, ribbed fruits with a firm and wrinkled flesh, and do not develop green shafts. Another advantage is that the variety does not break, which is important for cultivation without protection.

• Sowing depth: 0.5 cm
• Indoor sowing time: Early spring (March)
• Planting: Mid-May, after the last frost

Cultivation tips:

1. Sowing:

   • Sow the seeds on a warm bed or indoors for optimal temperature.
   • Stick out the plants once to give each plant enough space.

2. Deployment:

   • When the plants have hardened for 1–2 weeks, they can be planted out in the vegetable garden.

3. Soil and location:

   • The dwarf field tomato thrives best in permeable, humus-rich and nutrient-rich soil.
   • Plant in a sunny location protected from wind.

4. Care:

   • Water regularly and keep the soil moist but not too wet.
   • No special measures such as topping or encapsulation are required.
   • Does not need to be stolen

5. Harvest:

   • Harvest the ripe fruits continuously during July and August, when they have reached the desired size and color.
