'Yvona' is a medium-hot pepper that offers a nice balance of sweetness and heat. The fruits are flat and plump, with a light green color that ripens to red. It has an intensity of 5,000–10,000 Scoville units, making it a good choice for dishes where you want a little heat but not too much. Perfect for sauces, stews, or for drying and grinding into chili.
