Tomato – 'Roman Striped'
Solanum lycopersicum

A beautifully striped tomato with a big personality! 'Roman Striped' produces 10–12 cm long, oblong fruits with decorative red-yellow patterning and a juicy, flavorful flesh . The flavor is a perfect balance between sweetness and slight acidity , making it excellent for both cooking and salads .

The tomatoes are fleshy with few seeds – ideal for pasta sauces, baking and tomato preserves. A variety that both tastes good and looks fantastic on the plate !

Cultivation & Care:

  • Sowing period: February–March (indoors with grow lights)

  • Planting outdoors: When the risk of frost is over

  • Harvest: July–September

  • Growth habit: Tall growing – pinched and tied up

  • Fruit size: approx. 10–12 cm

  • Plant distance: 40–50 cm

  • Sowing depth: 0.5–1 cm
