Passion flower 'Caerulea Blue'
Latin name: Passiflora caerulea L.
Passion flower 'Caerulea Blue' is an exotic climber with spectacular blue-white flowers and a fast-growing habit. It is ideal for trellises, pergolas or as an indoor houseplant. In warmer climates it can be grown outdoors year-round, while in cooler zones it does best as a potted plant or in a greenhouse.

- Sowing time: January–May (pre-cultivation)
- Flowering time: June–September
- Sowing depth: 0.5 cm
- Plant distance: 30–50 cm
- Height: 2–6 meters (depending on growing conditions)
- Location: Sunny and warm, preferably in a sheltered position
- Soil type: Well-drained, nutritious and moisture-retaining soil
- Watering: Regular, but avoid waterlogged soil
Cultivation tips:
- Soak the seeds in lukewarm water for 24 hours before sowing to improve germination.
- Pre-cultivate in a warm and bright environment at 20–25°C.
- Can be grown in a pot and brought inside during the winter in cooler climates.
- Prune regularly to keep the plant compact and promote flowering.
