Sweet Pea – 'Beaujolais'
Lathyrus odoratus
A romantic climber with deep burgundy flowers and a wonderful fragrance , 'Beaujolais' is perfect for climbing up trellises, fences or pergolas , where it creates a flowering eye-catcher from midsummer to early autumn.
To prolong flowering – pick bunches often and remove over-bloomed flowers so the plant does not go to seed. The sweet pea's charm and fragrance make it an obvious favorite in the summer flower garden.
