Climbing Bean 'Blauhilde'
Latin name: Phaseolus vulgaris L.
The 'Blauhilde' broad bean is a high-yielding, climbing variety with long, dark purple pods that turn green when cooked. The pods are fleshy, thread-free and have a mild, sweet flavour. It is disease resistant and produces a consistent harvest throughout the season. Perfect for fresh consumption, cooking, stir-frying and freezing.
