A beautiful and flavorful Asian leafy vegetable with purple-red leaves and a peppery, almost garlicky flavor. It's reminiscent of pak choi but with a stronger character - perfect in salads, stir-fries or as a spicy green base in hot dishes.

Sowing time: Under glass March–May, directly outdoors May–August
Distance: 20 cm between plants, 30 cm between rows
Location: Sun to partial shade
Harvest: 4–6 weeks after sowing

Harvest young as baby leaf or let it grow – you can even take multiple harvests from the same plant
