Chives - Medium Leaf
Description:
Chives are a perennial, easy-to-grow plant that overwinters outdoors. It quickly develops large tufts of medium-thick, vivid green leaves with a distinctly aromatic and spicy flavor. Perfect as a flavor enhancer in salads, on sandwiches or as a decoration for dishes.

Sowing instructions
Sowing depth: 1–2 cm
- Pre-cultivation: Pre-cultivate in greenhouses from March to April for an earlier harvest.
- Direct sowing: Sow directly outdoors in April when the soil is warm enough.
- Planting: Plant out pre-cultivated seedlings in May. Chives thrive best in a sunny location in nutrient-rich, well-drained soil.
Plant distance: 30 x 30 cm
Harvest
- Harvest time: May – October
- Cut the leaves regularly to stimulate new growth and keep the plants lush. Chives can also be frozen for use during the winter.

Answer: Yes, we offer free shipping on all seed packages for purchases over SEK 26 in Sweden.
4. Can I return live plants?
Answer: Unfortunately, live plants cannot be returned due to their sensitivity and because they are fresh produce.
