Red-leafed basil – KRAV 'Opal'
Ocimum basilicum

A beautiful and tasty basil with deep purple-red leaves , which adds both color and flavor to salads, sauces and vegetarian dishes . 'Opal' has a soft, aromatic flavor and is just as good fresh as dried. It is also KRAV-labeled , making it a conscious choice for the environment.

Excellent for potting all year round , but also thrives in the garden during the summer. Top the plants to get a dense and bushy plant.
