Petroselinum crispum

A classic and popular herb with densely curly leaves, vigorous growth habit and intense flavour . 'Moskrul 2' is rich in vitamins and iron , excellent for use fresh – and ideal for freezing .

This KRAV-labeled variety is easy to grow both in the garden and in a pot. Harvest leaves continuously all summer – and feel free to bring a plant into your kitchen window for the fall.

Cultivation & Care:

  • Sowing period: February–May

    • Indoors: Sow in small pots with seeding soil in February–March (5–10 seeds per pot)

    • Outdoors: So shallow in rows in April–May

  • Germination time: Very slow – up to 4 weeks. Soak seeds 24 hours before sowing to speed up germination.

  • Germination temperature: Optimal 20–24 °C

  • Transplanting: When the risk of frost is over

  • Harvest: May–October

  • Growth habit: Freestanding and compact

  • Height: approx. 25 cm
