'Telegraph Improved' is a classic and popular greenhouse cucumber originating in England. It produces long, smooth, dark green fruits with crispy, juicy flesh – completely free of bitterness. The variety is seedless and is particularly appreciated in salads and as a fresh snack .

This cucumber has a strong winding growth habit and is best grown in greenhouses, where it thrives in a warm and protected environment. With proper care, it gives a bountiful harvest throughout the summer. Enough for 15 plants.

Cultivation information:

  • Sowing time: April–May, indoors

  • Sowing depth: 1–2 cm

  • Planting: In greenhouse, in warm bed or large pot (at least 15 liters)

  • Plant distance: approx. 45 cm

  • Growth habit: Creeping, requires tying up

  • Location: Sunny and warm

  • Watering: Even moisture, avoid wet root collar
