Description:
Dill 'Monarch' (Anethum graveolens) is a spreading and highly productive variety characterized by its blue-green leaves and a strong, rich aroma thanks to the high content of essential oils. The plants reach a height of 90–110 cm and have minimal tendency to flower, making them very suitable for continuous harvesting throughout the season.

Sowing time:
- Direct sowing in the soil from the end of March to the end of July . Dill seeds germinate quickly, and you can start harvesting the first leaves as early as 43 days after sowing.

- Sow the seeds at a depth of 1–2 cm .

Plant distance:
- To give the plants room to spread, you should plant the seeds with a distance of 20-30 cm between each plant.

Soil: Dill 'Monarch' thrives best in moderately heavy soils rich in calcium and humus . The soil should be permeable , that is to say, it should have good drainage, as well as moderately moist .

Location: Choose a sunny and warm place , as dill prefers a lot of light and heat to develop optimally.

Watering: Dill requires regular watering , especially during dry periods. The soil should be kept moist but not too wet.

Time: You can start harvesting the young leaves as early as 43 days after sowing and continue harvesting until mid-October . Dill grows back quickly after topping, and it is possible to top the plants up to three times in a season to promote new growth.
