Korean mint
Agastache rugosa
A fragrant and beautiful herb and medicinal plant with lavender-blue flower buds and a fresh aroma reminiscent of licorice and mint. Korean mint is very popular with pollinators, especially bees and butterflies, and blooms for a long time from summer to autumn.
The leaves can be used fresh in tea, salads and Asian dishes, or dried for later use. An easy-to-grow perennial that thrives in a sunny location and well-drained soil.
