Kale - REQUIREMENTS 'Westlande Herfst'
Brassica oleracea
A vitamin-rich and frost-resistant kale variety that can be harvested well into winter – sometimes as late as January in mild winters . 'Westlandse Herfst' is a classic autumn and winter cabbage with curly green leaves that tastes best after a couple of frosty nights. Perfect for freezing, smoothies, chips, casseroles or stews .
It is KRAV-certified , easy to grow and copes with our Swedish climate excellently. To protect young plants from pests, growing under non-woven fabric is recommended.
