Cucumis sativus – about 25 seeds
Tanja is a classic and very productive cucumber variety for outdoor or cold storage. The variety produces long, dark green fruits – up to 35 cm – with crispy, firm flesh and a nice taste. It develops evenly without becoming bitter, making it excellent both fresh and for light pickling.
The variety has been grown in Europe since the mid-20th century and is appreciated for its reliable harvest and flavorful cucumbers. It is equally suitable for the kitchen garden as for larger cultivations.
