Latin name: Arachis hypogaea

Peanuts are a heat-loving legume that develops its fruits underground. They produce small, yellow flowers that, after pollination, send their seed pods into the soil where the nuts develop. Perfect for growing in warm climates, greenhouses or in large pots in sunny locations.
