Rose salad 'Maraichere Rossa di Verona'
Latin name: Cichorium intybus L.
'Maraichere Rossa di Verona' is a traditional Italian chicory variety that develops large, firm heads with deep red-violet leaves and white veins. It has a crunchy texture and a slightly bitter taste that softens after chilling or cooking. Perfect for salads, grilling, baking and pasta dishes.
