Pole mint
Latin name: Mentha pulegium L.
Spearmint is a low-growing, fragrant mint with small, dark green leaves and purple flowers. It has an intense minty scent and is traditionally used in herbal teas, insect repellents and as a ground cover in the garden. The plant spreads quickly and thrives both in pots and outdoors.
