Xotica Hon Tsai Tai - Choy Sum Purple
Latin name: Brassica rapa var. parachinensis
Hon Tsai Tai, also known as Choy Sum Purple, is an Asian leafy vegetable with decorative purple stems and dark green leaves. It is fast-growing and has a mild, slightly sweet and nutty flavor. The entire plant, including the stems, leaves and flowers, is edible and is often used in stir-fries, soups, steaming and salads.
