Black cabbage 'Nero Di Toscana'
Latin name: Brassica oleracea var.
Black cabbage 'Nero Di Toscana' is an Italian heritage variety from the 19th century, grown for its long, dark green/blue leaves with a beautiful, dented texture. The plant grows up to 90 cm tall and is very cold tolerant, making it perfect for harvesting well into winter. It has a mild, nutty flavour and is used fresh in salads, in soups, pasta, as a garnish or cooked like kale.

Culture:
