Pumpkin 'Uchiki Kuri'
Latin name: Cucurbita maxima
Pumpkin 'Uchiki Kuri', also known as Hokkaido pumpkin, is a popular Japanese variety that produces medium-sized, round fruits with a deep orange skin and a firm, sweet and nutty flesh. It has a great flavor and is excellent for soups, gratins, baking and roasting. The skin is edible after cooking.
