Paprika Dumas

Description:
Dumas is a mid-season and high-yielding variety that is suitable for growing outdoors or in unheated greenhouses. The variety develops round, tomato-like fruits with a somewhat flat shape. The dark red fruits are juicy, sweet and perfect for enjoying fresh after harvest or for pickling.

Cultivation characteristics

  • Sowing depth: 0.5 cm
  • Sowing time in greenhouse: February – April
  • Planting: From May, when the danger of frost is over
  • Plant distance: 40–50 x 30–40 cm
  • Harvest period: July – October

Cultivation tips

  • Sowing: Sow the seeds indoors in nutritious seed soil. Keep the soil evenly moist and the temperature between 22-26°C to promote germination.
  • Repotting: When the plants have developed 2-3 leaves, repot into larger pots for further growth.
  • Planting out: Plant out the seedlings in a sunny location with well-drained soil when the risk of frost is over.
  • Watering: Water regularly and avoid the soil drying out completely.
  • Fertilization: Provide nutrient solution regularly to ensure optimal growth and fruiting.

Answer: Unfortunately, live plants cannot be returned due to their sensitivity and because they are fresh produce.
