Cress is a fast-growing sprout with a peppery, mustard-like flavor. It is rich in vitamins and antioxidants and adds a fresh and spicy touch to sandwiches, salads and soups.

Cultivation instructions:

• Soaking: No soaking is needed.
• Germination time: 4–6 days.
• Rinsing: No need to rinse after sowing, but keep the substrate moist.
• Growing method: Best grown on a tray with a moist substrate (cotton, paper towels or soil). Since the seeds form a jelly-like film on contact with water, they should not be grown in a germination container.
• Location: Bright but not in direct sun.
• Harvest: When the sprouts are 4–6 cm long, cut them at the base and use immediately.

Use: Perfect as a topping on sandwiches, in salads, omelettes and soups.
