Description:
Cucumber 'Delicius' is an early, high-yielding variety that develops cylindrical, almost completely smooth fruits of 13-16 cm with light green skins and pale stripes. It is a typical pickle , flaky and tasty, which can be eaten fresh or frozen for later use.

One packet contains 5 grams of seeds, which corresponds to approximately 200 seeds.

Sowing and planting:

1. Sowing time:

   • In greenhouse: April.
   • Outdoors: After May 15 when the risk of frost is completely over.

2. Sowing depth:

   • Sow the seeds 2–3 cm deep in moist, well-drained soil.

3. Deployment:

   • Pre-cultivated plants can be set out at the end of May.

4. Plant distance:

   • 100–120 cm between rows.
   • 15 cm between the plants in the row.

Plant conditions:

• Soil: Cucumbers thrive in warm, well-drained, humus-rich soil with a high nutrient content.
• Location: Sunny and sheltered from the wind.
• Watering: Cucumbers need regular watering, avoid watering the leaves to minimize the risk of disease.

Care:

• Support: Use trellis or support sticks if possible to keep the fruits clean and facilitate harvesting.
