Sprouted seeds - Radish

Latin name: Raphanus sativus

Radish sprouts are fast-growing and have a spicy, peppery flavor that adds a flavor boost to salads, sandwiches, wraps and Asian dishes. They are rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants and contribute to a healthy diet.

Cultivation instructions:

  • Soaking: Place the seeds in water for 6–8 hours.
  • Germination time: 4–6 days.
  • Rinsing: Rinse 2 times a day with fresh water.
  • Cultivation method:
    • Best grown in a germination jar, germination tray or on a moist substrate such as cotton or soil.
    • Requires good air circulation to avoid mold.
  • Location: Bright but not in direct sun.
  • Harvest: When the sprouts are 4–6 cm long, rinse thoroughly and store in the refrigerator.

Use: Perfect as a topping in salads, sandwiches and Asian dishes or as a tasty and healthy addition to the diet.
