Sprouted seeds - Mizuna
Latin name: Brassica rapa var. japonica
Mizuna is a mild and slightly peppery sprout with a fresh, crunchy texture. It is rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, making it a nutritious addition to salads, sandwiches and Asian dishes.
Cultivation information:
- Packaging: 5 g seeds
- Soaking: 4–6 hours
- Germination time: 5–7 days
- Rinsing: 2–3 times daily
- Temperature: 18–22°C
- Location: Dark for the first few days, then light to develop chlorophyll
This is how you sprout:
- Rinse the seeds thoroughly and soak them in cold water for 4–6 hours.
- Pour off the water and rinse the seeds. Place them in a germination jar or tray.
- Rinse 2–3 times daily and let the water drain well.
- After 5–7 days, the sprouts are ready to eat.
Use: Perfect in salads, wok, Asian dishes, sandwiches and wraps.
Mizuna sprouts are easy to grow at home and provide a mild and nutritious harvest year-round. Store the sprouts in the refrigerator and eat them fresh for the best taste and nutrition.

4. Can I return live plants?
Answer: Unfortunately, live plants cannot be returned due to their sensitivity and because they are fresh produce.
