Lemon basil
Latin name: Ocimum basilicum var. citriodora
Lemon basil is an aromatic and fresh basil variety with a distinct lemon scent and flavor. It is perfect for salads, fish dishes, Asian dishes, teas and desserts where its citrus-like tone gives an extra fresh flavor. Its light green leaves and white flowers also make it a decorative herb in the garden.
