Basil Sprouted Seeds
Latin name: Ocimum basilicum
Basil sprouts have a mild and aromatic flavor with a slightly peppery note. They are rich in vitamins and antioxidants and are often used as a topping in salads, sandwiches and pasta dishes.
Cultivation instructions:
- Soaking: No soaking is needed.
- Germination time: 6–8 days.
- Rinsing: Do not rinse after sowing, but keep the substrate moist.
- Cultivation method: Best grown on a tray with moist substrate (cotton, soil or coconut fiber) as the seeds form a jelly-like film upon contact with water.
- Location: Bright but not in direct sun.
- Harvest: Cut the sprouts when they are 3–5 cm long.
Use: Suitable for salads, sandwiches, pasta dishes and as a decoration on hot and cold dishes.

Answer: Yes, we offer free shipping on all seed packages for purchases over SEK 26 in Sweden.
4. Can I return live plants?
Answer: Unfortunately, live plants cannot be returned due to their sensitivity and because they are fresh produce.
