Spinach
Latin name: Blitum capitatum ( Chenopodium capitatum )
Wild spinach is a unique and ornamental plant that produces both edible leaves and small, red, berry-like fruits. The leaves have a mild flavor and can be used fresh in salads or cooked like spinach. The red fruits, which resemble strawberries in appearance but have a mild, slightly tart flavor, are excellent for garnishing and decoration.
